Who is the Ultimate Warrior?!?
BIO:
Born, Brian James Hellwig, was a professional wrestler in the 80's and 90's. Best known for his appearances in the World Wrestling Federation and World Championship Wrestling.
In the WWF the Ultimate Warrior was known for ring entrances, which featured him racing into the arena at full speed, bursting into the ring and violently shaking the ropes. He was also known for his distinctive face paint.
He had feuds with The Honky Tonk Man, Rick Rude, Sgt. Slaughter The Undertaker, Papa Shango and Hulk Hogan. The Warrior was heralded as the wrestler to become the biggest star of the 1990's and the successor to Hulk Hogan.
His Greatest match and one of the most famous matches in wrestling history, Warrior faced Hulk on April 1, 1990 for WrestleMania VI.
He was let go and re-hired several times during his stint with the WWF.
The Ultimate Warrior Joined WCW (1998-1999) and began a feud against the NWO and Hogan. They met again at Halloween Havoc and Hogan scored the pin fall. The Warrior was released shortly after the match.
In 1993 he legally changed his name to Warrior in order to retain the legal rights to use the name outside of the WWF
The Warrior currently maintains a blog on his personal website where he discusses his personal life, his personal views on politics, sexuality, patriotism, and his legacy as a wrestler.
